AOTS Management Training Programs
 

The program on the Development of Die and Mould Industry [DDMI]

The program is designed as one of DDMI-1 intends to provide participants with prospective framework of the die and mold industry associations
to integrate their efforts to promote the industry and DDMI-2 aims to promote standardization and international cooperation in die and mold industry in the world. Both programs are not specialized for enhancing the technical knowledge of Die & Mold manufacturing.

APPLICATION FORM

HANDLING PERSONAL INFORMATION

 

 

(1) Executives, senior managers or managers of companies/organizations involved in die and mold production
or the production of products using dies and molds, or experts of educational/training organizations in the
area of die and mold production and/or use. Officers of public/industrial organizations in charge of
promoting die and mold industry are also acceptable,
(2) Three years or more working experience in the above fields,

The Program on Design Management[PDM]

This course is designed as one of AOTS's flagship courses for all the developing countries to learn business management/ administration techniques and their underlying ways of thinking, all of which are characteristics of Japanese companies. It also aims to provide an opportunity for executives, senior managers, and designers* to upgrade their capabilities in design management so that they can utilize "design" as the key factor for their corporate competitive strategies

 

Participants should be executives, senior managers or designers involved in design management (however, this program is targeted at those involved in product design and graphic design, so participation by machinery design technicians, those involved in design related to construction, and designers in the garment or textile industries is not permitted). In addition, experts involved in design development and lecturers at educational institutions, such as universities, who are expected to play a role as a motive force in the dissemination of design management, may participate.

The Program on Practical Corporate Management for India[INPC]

The course has been developed with the aim of enabling participants to learn about management strategy thinking and the practical management techniques of Japanese companies that are world leaders in their fields, thereby instilling in participants the ability to implement the overseas expansion of their company's business and improve their management ability.

Program leaflet

Participants should be, in principle, owners, partners or top executives of manufacturing companies in India that are seeking to achieve (or are already implementing) the overseas expansion of their company's business. However, senior managers from divisions that formulate management strategies may also apply.

The Program for Practical Operations Management
[PPOM]

This course is designed as one of AOTS's flagship courses for all the developing countries to learn business management /administration techniques and their underlying ways of thinking which are characteristics of Japanese companies. It also aims to enhance the production management capability of managers by acquiring problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Participants should be, in principle, primary managers and/or middle managers in manufacturing companies.

The Executive Program on Corporate Management
[EPCM]

This is designed as one of AOTS's flagship courses for all the developing countries to learn business management/ administration techniques and their underlying ways of thinking which are characteristics of Japanese companies. It was first organized in 1983 to improve the managerial capabilities of corporate executives in developing countries, and the 29th program will be held this year.

Participants should be, in principle, director-level senior executives who have overall responsibility for their organizational management.

The Program for Business Innovation by Information Technology[BIIT]

The course is one of such management training programs, which is designed to show how to use information technology (IT) for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of corporate management and create higher value added businesses.

Participants should be, in principle, senior managers, executives or owners of a company that wishes to use IT effectively for business development and managerial innovation.

The Production Management Training Course [PMTC]

This course is designed as one of AOTS's flagship courses for all the developing countries to learn business management /administration techniques and their underlying ways of thinking, all of which all are characteristics of Japanese companies. The first Production Management Training Course (PMTC) was held in 1977, and the course has been held every year ever since. This is the 33rd course in the series. The PMTC course aims at improving the production management abilities of those who work in manufacturing industries. It also aims to enhance the teamwork and leadership abilities of the participants, enabling them to play a major role in solving human- and organization-related problems.

Participants should be, in principle, managers, supervisors and/or senior engineers/staff who are engaged in the production control, productivity enhancement and day-to-day operation of factory management at manufacturing companies, etc. Those who are not engaged in actual production management, productivity enhancement activities and factory operation are ineligible for participation.
